Introducing Free Minecraft Server Hosting
Claim a Vanilla Minecraft: Java Edition server from 1of1 Servers at no cost for 14 days, with unlimited player slots, 6 Tbps DDoS protection and extensions on request.
Starting today, you can get a Minecraft server from 1of1 Servers without paying anything. Our new free plan gives you a Vanilla Minecraft: Java Edition server for 14 days, running on the same hardware and network as our paid servers.
We built it for anyone who wants to try 1of1 Servers before spending money, or who just wants a place to play with friends this weekend.
What you get
Every free server comes with:
- Unlimited player slots
- 4GB of RAM
- Vanilla Minecraft: Java Edition
- Hosted in Dallas, US
- Gen 4 NVMe storage and a 10 Gbps network port
- 6 Tbps DDoS protection
- 14 days, with extensions on request
There are no setup fees and no charge for the 14 days. You only pay if you decide to upgrade.
Same network as our paid servers
Free doesn't mean second class. Your server runs on the same network as every paid plan, with CosmicGuard filtering attacks before they ever reach your world. Worlds load and save quickly on Gen 4 NVMe storage, and the 10 Gbps port leaves plenty of room for everyone to join at once.
How to claim it
- Head to the free Minecraft page and select Claim Free Server.
- Check out the free Vanilla Java Edition plan in our billing panel. There is nothing to pay, and your server starts installing as soon as the order is placed.
- Share the IP with your friends and start building.
Your first world can take a few minutes to generate. If you get stuck connecting, our team is happy to help.
Need more than 14 days?
The 14 days start on the day your server is created. If you are still building when time is nearly up, request an extension from My Services in your billing panel before it runs out. Our team reviews every request, so extensions aren't guaranteed, but we want active worlds to keep going.
Ready for mods, plugins or more RAM?
The free plan runs Vanilla Java Edition only. When you want more, our paid Minecraft plans add Forge, NeoForge, Paper and Sponge, with up to 48GB of RAM and a choice of locations.
Your world comes with you. The dashboard includes SFTP access, so you can download your save at any time and upload it to your new server.
The fine print
It's one free server per customer, and duplicate or abusive orders may be cancelled. That's it.
